Students who are preparing for the ABRSM Graded practical exam or those who would like to pursue a more serious and in-depth understanding of theory are encouraged to join the class. In addition to covering fundamental material in papers, we will incorporate music theory in sound which includes rhythm tapping, listening and singing. Music games will be added to reinforce their learning. Weekly homework will also be assigned.
After the session ends, students will have sufficient knowledge to take the ABRSM graded theory exam. ABRSM grade 5 theory exam is prerequisite for Practical and Performance Grades 6 to 8.

Grade 3-5 Theory class
The curriculum is suitable for students currently preparing for the ABRSM practical exam Grade 3 and above. After the entire session students should be prepared to take the ABRSM grade 5 theory exam.
